On Thursday, 16th July 2026, Peak Crossing State School was buzzing with excitement as students participated in the highly engaging Street Science incursion. This event brought the wonders of science to life, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among students of all ages.
Through dynamic demonstrations and interactive experiments, students explored fascinating scientific concepts such as chemical reactions, forces, and energy. Highlights included explosive experiments, mesmerising dry ice displays, and opportunities for students to get involved in creating their own scientific discoveries.
The incursion not only aligned with the Australian Curriculum’s focus on STEM education but also inspired our young learners to think critically and creatively about the world around them.
