Our Year 6 students recently returned from an unforgettable camp at Tallebudgera Outdoor and Environmental Education Centre, where adventure, teamwork and personal growth were at the heart of every day.
Set against the stunning natural backdrop of the Gold Coast, camp provided students with the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, challenge themselves and strengthen friendships as they prepare for their transition to high school. Throughout the week, students took part in a wide range of exciting activities designed to build resilience, cooperation and confidence. From problem-solving challenges and team-building games to outdoor adventure experiences, every activity encouraged students to support one another and celebrate their achievements together.
Evenings were filled with reflection, laughter and shared stories, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Students demonstrated outstanding behaviour, responsibility and school spirit, making both staff and families incredibly proud.
Year 6 Camp at Tallebudgera is always a highlight of the primary years, and this year was no exception. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to grow as individuals, deepen friendships and create lasting memories as they approach the final chapter of their primary schooling journey.
