The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association is a vital not-for-profit organisation that supports our school.
Who is part of the P&C?
The P&C consists of parents and citizens in our school community, whose have a shared purpose of assisting and
bettering the school and promoting the interests of the entire school community.

Others who don’t wish to have a formal role can still be part of the P&C committee.
Can I be part of the P&C?
Absolutely. Anyone can attend a P&C meeting. We are a dedicated group of parents and teachers that enjoy each
other’s company and get satisfaction in making a positive impact. We welcome everyone and you can come along to any
meeting. Attending a P&C meetings is also a great way to understand what is going on in the school with our principal
providing an update and opportunity to ask questions.
Our annual general meeting will be held Monday 10th February
at 6pm in the school library. Nibblies provided.
I would like to be involved in the P&C but I don’t have a lot of free time?
There is no specific time commitment or level of contribution required. Many of our committee members work full
time. You can choose how much or little involvement you want to have and when. No matter what your skills or
interests, there is a way in which every person can make a difference.
When are the P&C meetings held?
Monthly on a Monday evening in the school Library.

How does the school, children and parents benefit from the P&C?
Children have participated in events such as the school disco.
Children had the opportunity to purchase gifts for Mother’s and Father’s Day from our stalls.
The year 6 graduation is organised and partially funded by the P&C, to ensure tickets for students and
teachers are free and the experience is magical.
The P&C has purchased new large fridges for 4 classrooms this year for children to keep their lunch cold.
The P&C provided funding to the school for gardening, increasing the aesthetic appeal of the school.
Every prep student receives a free new starter pack purchased and assembled by the P&C.
Uniforms are offered at close to cost price, as the uniform shop is managed by a volunteer from the P&C.
Tuckshop is offered at very reasonable prices, with the tuckshop managed by volunteers from the P&C.
The P&C provides volunteers and services to school events ie. lunch at Athletics Day.
The mural in the undercover area and pavements games (snakes and ladders etc) were organised and paid for
by the P&C.
The P&C funded sports uniforms for Soccer, Athletics, Netball and Rugby.
The P&C has just installed three filtered water stations for the students to drink from and fill their water
bottles.
