Interhouse sport
Peak Crossing State School has two Houses, Goolman and Flinders. Each year students represent their houses in swimming, cross country and athletics.
Term 1: Interhouse Swimming Carnival
Term 2: Interhouse Cross Country Carnival
Term 3: Interhouse Athletics Carnival
Each carnival gives students the opportunity to earn points for their house. The house with the most points for each carnival wins that carnival. They also go towards the overall compertition, The House Cup, which is awarded at the school's Awards Night at the end of each year.
Fassifern district sport
Peak Crossing State School is part of the Fassifern District for sport. Each year students aged between 10-12 years old can trial and/or be selected to represent the school at district sports.
There are several trials throughout the school year for:
· Cricket – Boys/Girls
· Cross Country
· Netball
· Rugby League - Boys/Girls
· Soccer - Boys/Girls
Softball – Boys/Girls
. Swimming - Club timed nominations
· Tennis
· Touch Football – Boys/Girls
· Track and Field
We also offer relevant information to trial for sports in the Ipswich District for:

. Hockey
Gala Days
Gala Days are one off carnivals which the students can participate in. These are once a Term against other schools in the district.
Term 2: NRL 9s
Term 3: Soccer/Netball
Term 4: T20 Blast
AUSKICK
AUSKICK representatives come to school once a year to run a AUSKICK program during lunch breaks. Students wishing to participate need to pay the fee and then they can play. The program runs for 6 weeks.
Tennis lessons
A tennis coach offers private lessons before school each Tuesday. Parents can contact the coach directly to enrol their child in the lessons.
